Kris Vegvari provides effective treatment for adults using individual and group therapy formats. He has extensive experience in outpatient, intensive outpatient, and military settings. Kris is credentialed as a Master Addiction Counselor (MAC) as well as a National Board Certified Counselor (NCC) and is extensively trained in treating those with substance misuse concerns. In addition to his expertise in substance abuse/addiction, he also specializes in trauma/anxiety and military related difficulties; U.S. Air Force veteran of 25 years and a former federal civilian employee of 8 years with the U.S. Army.
​With 13 years of experience treating anxiety, substance use, and PTSD/Trauma related disorders he can offer effective and long term help even to those suffering from the most extreme of concerns. His use of scientific based and effective treatments allows for fast symptom improvements and a markedly increased quality of life.
He is highly experienced at using exposure therapies for the treatment of anxiety and offers reliable, long lasting, results. He also incorporates the use of Virtual Reality (VR) into his treatment approach to increase effectiveness and expand the range of treatment options. Telehealth options are also available to make treatment more readily accessible to everyone.
